THE LABYRINTH OF THE BUTTERFLIES IN PANAMA

The presentation in Panama of the play, The Labyrinth of the Butterflies emerged as a proposal from at least three different initiatives that converged in July, 2008 to animate, enrich, and expand each one of the original initiatives..

The three initiatives included the Mar de Cambios School, the Central American regional tour of Wings of the Butterfly, and the initiative to incorporate activities for civil society in the Campaign for the Elimination of Violence Against Women by the United Nations Secretary General..

The play was performed in Abia Yala, an indigenous Kuna community
