PANAMA NEXT STOP FOR MESOAMERICAN TOUR OF LABYRINTH SHOW
Continuing the regional Mesoamerican tour, the Labyrinth of the Butterflies show will travel to Panama for three performances on July 6-11, 2009.

In this country, the theatre show will be presented on July 6th in Panama City as part of the first session of the Sea Change School (Escuela Mar de Cambios) with a workshop entitled “Patriarchal Powers/Feminist Transgressions.” The Mar de Cambios School is a participatory learning and action initiative is focused on the contruction of knowledge, training and strategies through multiple forms of deepening and extending the interaction between feminist theory and practice (praxis).

Just Associates (JASS), Peteteras MesoAmericanas and the International Feminist University (IFUN) who will lead the Sea Change workshop will sponsor and include the presentation of the Labyrinth play as part of the school’s curriculum.
Two other presentations are planned in the Kuna indigenous community of Abia Yala, organized by Center for Research and Social Action of Panama (CEASPA) and the Women’s Indigenous Coordinator, and in Santiago de Vergaguas with the Women’s Alliance of Veraguas and the Association of Psychology Students at the Regional University of Veraguas.
