Arline is a Nicaraguan resident of Costa Rica who has interdisciplinary training and experience that combines theatre, audiovisual and the environment.                      

She is working on a degree in Theatre at the National University in Heredia (graduating in 2008) where she studied Environment Education in 2001 and received a Bachelor's degree in Theatre Arts in 1998.

Arline was awarded a scholarship by the NETHERLANDS ORGANIZATION FOR INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION IN HIGHER EDUCATION (NUFIC) to study theatre at the International School of Arts, Utrech, Netherlands. (Hogeschool Voor De Kunsten). She has also studied Performance Art, Multicultural Studies, Theater and Audiovisual Production, Scriptwriting, Cultural Management, and English as a Second Language.

Her professional experience includes:

• Coordinator of the Center for the Arts, and Producer of CIDEA at the National University of Costa Rica (currently).
  
  
• Founding member and producer for Teatro 50 al Sur (past 5 years).

• Producer of the following:
  • El Diario de Ana Frank (Diary of Anne Frank), and producer for the Central American tour of this play with Teatro 50 al Sur, financed by the Dutch Embassy and HIVOS.
  • Como si Fuera esta Noche y Libertad…Figuras y Figurillas (As if it were Night and Freedom...Figures and Figurines), Teatro 50 al Sur.
  • TV Program "Casos Verídicos: Pasó en Costa Rica" (True Cases that Happened in Costa Rica), Channel 2.
  • "La Llorona", pilot for TV Legend Series, Channel 2, Univisión of Costa Rica.

  • The movies El Camino" (The Road) y "El Rey del Chachachá" (The king of Chachacha).
  • Campaign "Demósle Campo a la Cortesía" (Let's Make Room for Courtesy), National Institute of Insurance.
