María Fernanda Campos

Costa Rican actress and choreographer

María Fernanda studied dance at the National University of Heredia in Costa Rica and the National School of Theatre.
Since 1995 she has worked in professional theatre in different areas of the two fields she studied: television, teaching and broadcasting. She has worked in 15 shows: Fisuras; Cuperucita Verde; La Loca de Gandoca; Romeo y Julieta; Viaje al reino de los deseos; Que lindas que son las ticas...; Cuentos de amor y canela; and Mal Dormir.
She acted in the last three as part of the Theatre Group Archipielago.
Currently she is a professor of dance at the National Dance School in the area of body expression and is assistant director of expression in graduate shows such as Jardin de Pulpos; Sueno de una noche de verano and Lisitrata.
She has recently begun to experiment in scriptwriting with the production of the monologue Yo so Paca and Milord.
