FEMINISTS EXPLORE CROSS-GENERATIONAL ISSUES

A life cycles workshop for Latin American feminists took place at the XI Feminist Latin American and Caribbean Feminist Encuentro, March 16- 20, 2009, in México City.


The activity was organized by Wings of the Butterfly together with the Central American Women´s Fund in which feminists from the region addressed the issue of the generation gap from a feminist perspective regarding life cycles.

Participants consisted of a group of 38 feminists from more than 15 countries in the region ranging from 21 to 71 years of age, who shared concerns about the generation gap and how to overcome it.
